upgraded sway bars... and a good set of springs and shocks is the best for street use... coilovers are overkill on a street car

Just as a point of fact: We are all at 1G as we sit in front of our computers.

um.. have you been driving your 350Z lately? I have thrown the damn thing into turns and it eats'em up like chicken katsu.

Get some better tires.

S-03's

And uh BTW - there is no substitute for less weight... only less weight

thow on a bigger rear sway bar and turn off vdc... butt should slide out more....

or even better bigger rear sway bar. Kaaz or somesort of mechanical LSD and lots more torque.... then you'll be sliding in no time... just be carefull

my old car had

apex N1 pro coilovers, cusco (solid mount) tension rods, ST sway bars, pillow mounts, kaaz lsd. The thing turned into a go-kart, very uncomfortable but handled unbelievably

Strip the interior. Remove the A/C. Remove the stereo. Install some 6lb carbon fibre racing shells. Get some BFG G Force T/A's. Get the Nismo or Tein suspension kit.

do a search for dwnshifts posts. he reported the weights of the whole interior after having stripped it.. i believe he said that the whole interior carpet seats plastic all of it was only like 150 pounds or so
not much gains to be had here...... however.. the exhuast and cats weight quite a bit.. exhuast is like 57 pounds an dhte cats are probably 10-15 pounds a piece

the wheels are heavy, same w/ the stereo take it out and the speakers ,, move battery and whatever use you can to the back.. but really i dont think your gonna be losing much weight.. i think the best thing you can do is try to balance it out more and move the weight to better locations.

take a look at the new cusco bars commin out and the tein suspension.. get some lightweight wheels and some grippy rubber and i think youd be fairly set to go

Default sway bars

I've always had good luck installing big thick bars but the ride will suffer.

TIRES!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to get get closer to 1G and truely want a race car style setup then put some R compound tires on there. Next up, suspension and a strong enough LSD to stand up to all that new found traction. Also, keep your wheels light, no 19" Chrome BLING BLING stuff. 17's or 18's only. Go coilovers and maybe stiffer sway bars and a nice agressive alignment. You'll be stuck like glue. Oh and don't forget brakes.
