I just bought a progressive tuner off of ebay. It claims that it adds 7-22 hp. It came with installation instructions, but they are not very helpful. If anyone has any information on this product it would be helpful. Thanks.

 

Post a picture of it or describe what it is. I've never heard of it so it might be a scam. If it plugs into your MAS don't install it as it is probably just a device to trick your ecu into thinking the car is running rich. Not really sure what it is though cuz I couldn't find one on ebay. Hold off on installing it til you show a pic or someone tells you what it does.

This is defnitely a scam. +7-22 HP for $25? They don't even explain how it works. I hope you didn't pay too much for yours man .

 

It is the one that says +22. I paid 25, but the feedback comments are all good and it says I can send it back if I am not satisfied.

 

Sorry to say this, but what you bought was a plastic box with a fuse in it and maybe....if you're lucky... a radioshack capacitor! Send it back and put the money toward a JWT popcharger if you want a cheap mod...OR you could open it up and tell us what's inside and then we could flame the people who sold it to you! : )
