The race clutch/flywheel package listed on their site weighs 19lbs total, and the flywheel is made of hardened steel so it won't warp, and it's only 11 lbs. I did a search and the last thread I found out about it was in 2003. So, no one made the plunge to see how it performs?

 

Anyone? Im interested in this setup as well. Does anyone know if it will be good for drag racing? Or is it like the tilton, more for road racing.

 

It will most likely be pretty hard to drag. The light weight will not maintain the momentum of the motor when launch and might get really hard to modulate. You may want to look at one of the ATS Clutches. They will be offering a heavier flywheel soon specifically for drag.

 

Sorry, I should have replied sooner. 350EV) did not really get in a production run of this flywheel for whatever reason. They have it there to show the quality of their work. BJ suggested the tilton flywheel to me when I e-mailed 350EVO.
