Default Tranny problem Help

I heard lots of people saying the Z have tranny problems, and one of the most is Grinding Gear... I have an 04 Z, I do heard sound when I shift from 1st to 2nd and somtimes 2nd to 3rd, but I'm not sure if is grinding, can you guys explain to me more about the grinding?? Were you still able to get it in gear, or do you have to move it back to netural then shift again, on my Z when I shift from 1st to 2nd I heard a metal to metal rubbing sound, sometimes it get really loud.

Also is When I step on the clucth pedal really fast on 1st to 2nd and sometime 2nd to 3rd, you heard a loud Clunking noise underneath the car, feels like something is loose.

Anyone of you notice of have this problem when your car get warm up and when you step on clucth pedal, you'll heard a ticking noise, if you give a gas, it'll get louder. I can heard my doing this in a very quite place. Is that noraml??

I took it to the dealer but they told me that this is normal. So I wanna see does other Z owner have these problem and did you guys get it fix???

I don't remember any clunking. My 5-6 grind sounded like throwing a fork in a blender. It would do it every time I shifted at a reasonable (normal) speed. Shifting very slowly would minimize or eliminate it. I only shifted 5-6 about 6 times on purpose, and twice by accident after I first noticed the problem. There was no question that something was really wrong.

And I can't think of any event that would have caused it, either. It just started at 1 AM one night on a perfectly clear freeway drive home from a business dinner.
