Default IMR Grounding Kit

Does anybody have the IMR Grounding Kit installed? I just found it on Intense's website, and its only 59 bux!

How is it different from, for example, Stillen?

A grounding kit is a grounding kit is a grounding kit.

There is little gain out of one as it is to compare companies. Some people notice a difference in idle, shifting, and startup, Some don't.

I am amazed that some people buy the Nismo one that costs like $150 or something like that.

If you are semi-handy there is a great DIY thread over at 350zmotoring
http://www.350zmotoring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=186

Great pics and instructions included. I myself tried it and installed it, I noticed the engine runs a little smoother, and it cost me $34.
It was fun to do most of all.
Got to know the Z a little better.

so it doesnt really matter if you make one myself, or buy one? so, how's the stock one worse then any other one? does nissan use really shitty wires?

and why are there such price differences? nismo - 150....stillen - 115.... IMR - 59 .... paying extra money for having something that is NISMO installed on your car?....heh

If you havent noticed, Veilside has one and it is going for mid $200s on one website. With a grounding kit, you are paying solely for the name of the mfr IMO.

Yup.

4 gauge copper wire is the same everywhere. That's what everyone uses. You do pay for the name. The $59 one is the most reasonable. Labor + materials. Nissan does not have a grounding wire setup like these kits. Nissan has one grounding wire. The DIY kit gives you 5 additional wires to ground various places on the engine of the Z.

I ordered the IMR kit and only received the wires. No hardware and no directions. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. Anybody else have this problem??
