How long do you have to wait before running the engine after putting the oil pan back on using r.t.v.?

I work as a mechanic and when you use just rtv you should wait about 30minutes if its coolant related or when its oil related you can pretty much start it up by the time you got oil in it. But if you wanted to wait to be sure 30 minutes would be long enough.
