KJR Pulley Review
I just finished my install on the pulley. It didn't take too long at all. Before I installed the pulley i did a few wot runs so the feeling would be fresh in memory. After everything was back on I started the car to make sure my belts weren't going to squeal or anything and then took it out for a spin. I could definately tell that there were some gains throughout the powerband. Since my ac stopped working i just decided to leave that belt off cause i'm contemplating just removing all the ac components anyway. So i'm only running one belt which could contribute to the gains. All in all I give this mod 2 thumbs up, good gains for the dough

Did you use the stock belts with it? Also, I have UR Pulleys and got a slight squealing for about 5 secs, it has yet to happen again (this was last week). Should I be worried? How can I fix the "problem"? Finally, how much did you pay (PM me if you dont wanna post the price)

yes i used the stock belts but i didn't get any squealing. i felt how tight they were before i took the belts off and tightened the one i put back on to the same tension. i also made sure there was no oil or anything on the pulley or belt which could of been your source of squealing, if it hasn't reoccured. I payed the same price thats listed in the kjr pulley thread, it was 170 shipped i think. As to whether you can fix the "problem" if it happens again yes, all you would have to do is adjust the belt tensioner from under the car, assuming that it's not as far up as it can go already. good luck with the mods

ReavTek- check torque specs on your crank bolt. Instructions provided recommend 36 lbs. My pulley came loose in 2 days and was chattering like crazy. Jonathan @KJR informed me that 36 lbs is a misprint--it should be 36lbs + 60 degrees, which equates to +/- 90 lbs of torque on the crankbolt. Your squealing may be due to shifting belts because the crank pulley is coming loose and moving your belts out of line. Email or call KJR. I've also posted this info on the original thread pages. NO BAD ON KJR--Jon was very helpful and I believe my problem is solved.
