Default Welcome your newest Z owner! :-)

I bought a 2005 Z, Touring edition, on the 4th. You can find some pics here: http://www.compiledmonkey.com/z/ .

I'm curious to see what kind of mods I can do and what kind of power increases they would yield. What kind of HP would you see from the classic I/H/E combo?

Thanks.

I just noticed the AEM CAI only gives 5hp, boo. What a waste of nearly $400. I think my goal would be around 350hp at the wheels and I would really like a turbo. However, I'm sure that would kill my warranty so I'll probably wait on that for awhile.

another great thing about this board is that we have sponsored vendors that sell any product that you can find for the Z! $400!!?? WOW! where did you find that price? that is ridiculous!!! you can get it alot, ALOT cheaper....

If you ever are interested in something, or have a question, first use the search function! There is SO much information on this board and trust me any questions you have have been asked several times, and answered! so you can find your answer within minutes if your search!!!

If you are planning on going forced induction, save your money and don't buy an aftermarket intake/cai.... these FI kits will come with one! good luck! there are alot of options for you in FI (FORCED INDUCTION) it'll be a hard decision.

That price came from their website. I'll probably just end up waiting awhile and going turbo. I need to find a good shop in the area that really knows these cars. I have a feeling that's going to be a huge pain in the ***.
