Default Nismo body kit and Coeficient of Drag..

well. let me ask this

with all those new body kits coming out (cwest, vielside, nismo)

will that increase the coefficient of drag ? i would assume yes. but anyone know for sure and by how much?

what i dont get is, how can the G35 Sedan (with aero pkg) have a lower DC than the Z. (0.26 compared to 0.29)

longer cars are more areodynamicly efficient. from a science standpoint, of course you can screw that up with design, but its the hieght to length ratio, hence why if you were to look at exotic jaguars, ferraris and lamborghinis(ENZO is a great example) they are very long cars.)

as for doefficient of drag on body kits, in the perfect world they should increase drag but also increase downforce. otherwise they are just for looks, add weight, and thus quite pointless.

but to create drag you must also create downforce or lift. in most cases anyway.

The Top Secret one was tested, and it helped with stability substantially (suposedly). Thats because its a lip and an underbody difusor peice.

Me too. Brad, did you get the CF or the FRP? I decided to save a few bucks and got the FRP. Once I get a few dozen coats of Zaino on it, it'll be more than strong enough!

Yeah, i cheaped out too...also had to pay to get it painted so thats another 100 clams. He said the ground clearance should be ok as its no more than 3/4 of an inch lower.

Yeah, I figure with a few coats of Blackfire, mine will be fire proof as well....right....thats what the it does right?
