NISMO clutch grabbier?
Is grabbier a word? It grabs more, harder. That's what I felt after I drove my ZR today after picking it up from the dealer. That was, of course, after they installed the NISMO clutch and cover. I already had the NISMO flywheel but was still driving around with the OEM clutch. Long story. It took about 10-12 shifts, but I got the hang of it pretty quickly. The car seemed more aggressive, but I am almost positive that was all in my head. I didnt find it harder to press the clutch, but I do have to be more sensitive when letting it out or it grabs hard. I also spun the wheels like crazy in 2nd gear, with the traction control light coming on for a good couple of seconds. Never did that before.
Anyways, anyone else have the NISMO clutch installed? Did you notice any difference, and what was it?

ZBoater,
I don't have the Nismo clutch or flywheel, but was thinking about adding them. In addition to the clutch being more aggressive, how much louder is the set up than stock? I have heard that the flywheel clatters under 2000 rpms. Just curious why didn't you have them both installed at the same time? I understand that the clutch/flywheel are made by Exedy.

I've had my Nismo clutch & pp with a JWT Al. flywheel in for a few weeks now, and I love it! My disengagement point was lowered, and as a package, it's actually EASIER to drive smoothly now. It does have a SLIGHT rattle at idle, but with all the other noise-adding mods I've done, it doesn't bother me. Tilton's are MUCH louder, and harder to drive.
