Porting/Polishing
Has anyone gotten anything on their cars ported, bored, or polished? I'm looking to get my TB done and I was wondering if anyone had their heads, IM, or anything else ported?

The forged motor I sold was fully ported and polished with gasket matched lower plenum, gaskets, etc. The owner has reported that with the JWT cams, he has maxed out his 440cc Greddy injectors much sooner than with the stock heads at the same boost levels. I believe he has gone to a 650cc equivalent to balance the extra airflow now.

i have severly ported my heads and the lower manifold runners and upper manifold runners. wound up with a pile of aluminum about 12" diameter and 3" tall that was cut out of the heads and manifold, lol. getting ready to remove the upper intake runner air horns like the 300hp motor. it will shorten the runners, eliminate a turn, and increase plenum volume by a considerable amount. then it will be a complete straight shot down to the valve bowl area.
i am still tuning the car now but it should make a big difference over stock heads. also the greddy manifolds were very rough and didn't match the exhaust ports and the stock gaskets were a big obstruction, so matched all of those to the new exhaust port shapes. on some low datalogging the car hit 140% charge effientcy at just 50% throttle and 5.5psi boost. can't wait to see what 17psi, menthenol injection, and race gas will do, wheee.
