AEM wideband gauge HELP!!

Default AEM wideband gauge HELP!!

hey guys... i just installed the AEM UEGO wideband gauge in my FI Z... ive never used one of these before so i had some questions. When i floor the car in like 3rd or 4th, the reading on the digital gauge goes blank!!!... when i drive around, i see numbers... i dont get it??? was it installed wrong, it seems like it was installed properly except the flooring... i boguht cause i wanna see where my a/f is at full throttle(max boost) and i cant tell... any help??

I assume you mean you see "---"? And I also assume it goes to "---" on the left side of the dial?

This just means you are running at below an 11:1 A/F ratio at WOT.. The AEM guage doesn't measure below 11:1.. So you are off teh scale or "---" ... Your tune is rich for safety.. This is normal..

If you see "---" on the right side of the dial.. it means you're probably going to blow your motor any second

If all you see is "--.--" that means it is off the scale. I am guessing that you are really rich under WOT. When you are cruising around it should be around 15 or so. When decellerating it will go very lean and off the scale on the lean side.

yes the TNetics tuned ECU will normally fall below 11 (Rich) at WOT. Thats a good thing.

now, the funny thing... if you look at my dyno sheets on my webpage in my signature... i should be around 12.3 on the scale.... now im totally lost

when they dyno'ed did they use a sniffer in the exhaust? If so that might explain it being leaner on the graph.

yeah, if u watch the video on my webpage of the dyno, they had something in the exhaust
