Would you buy a used clutch??
Those clutches are rated to 500rwhp (or so I've been told). How many rwhp was the guy running?
Let's face it, many people buy this mod and don't like it. They have got to sell it to recoupe some of their money. Odds are it's as good as new and you'd be getting a good deal.

ask for photos of the clutch and compare it to stock and also other worn clutches you might have seen.
then ask for milage on the clutch etc etc.
chances are if he's had it a month or two its still good

I would be afraid that this guy's slightly worn clutch and his flywheel have developed wear patterns that are unique to their "partnership". You take that slightly worn clutch and put it up against your freshly resurfaced flywheel, and you will probably get accelerated wear on both your new/used clutch and your newly resurfaced flywheel. Sometime in the coming months, you may need to buy a new clutch and a new flywheel and also pay for another installation. I don't think you can resurface a flywheel more than once...
I'd rather start fresh with a new clutch and a freshly resurfaced flywheel. (New, flat surface against another new, flat surface.) Peace of mind alone would be worth the difference in cost to me.
Anyone disagree?
