huh?
it all depends on your driving habits. i know guys who had it replaced at 10k miles.
I have 25k on my stock clutch. Even this being my first MT car, there was still plenty of life after I had it replaced for my turbo install.
so...you are not going to find any useful info to your question

I had 177K on my 300ZX Turbo with a stock Nissan clutch. Depends on how you drive and how much HP you have in front of that stock clutch.
On my '98 Firebird the stock clutch came out after 10K and a few runs down the track.
That stock clutch just wouldn't handle the HP. However, GM wanted to make a car with a clutch that was easy on the leg for 80% of the owners. I bought an after market clutch that was supposed to have the same petal press but better clamping pressure. It is a little heavier than stock. However, I wouldn't expect the avg Joe to like it on a daily commute car. It's perfect for me... but, that not for everyone. That performance clutch has handled anything I can throw it it. I twisted a transmission input shaft and the clutch is like new. That is something you need to consider if you upgrade as well. Trannies are more expensive than clutches.
If you have a stock Z, drive your Z like a normal car, don't dump the clutch every week; It should last over 100K as long as you know how to shift properly. If you are dumping the clutch at every chance you get you'll be buying a clutch every year or so. That is my experience.
Hope this give some insight into the clutch wear situations.

I smell clutch all the time when driving hard, however I have never replaced a stock clutch on any of my cars. Lucky?? I probably just doomed myself to a new clutch. My 88 integra went 130K miles on original clutch. My current beater 95 corolla 133k miles stock clutch. Just don't ride it and you will be fine. Someone on here once said " pretend clutch pedal is burning hot and you're barefoot" something like that. I think it's good advice. Shift quick and get your foot of clutch pedal.
I wouldn't replace my Zs stock clutch with another stocker. Probably cheaper to go with an after market light weight that will hold mre HP for future mods. ACT or JWT rated to 500 HP I believe.

I replaced my clutch this week.
Labor was 505. One day job. I had 40k miles. No race, I have slipping clutch habit somewhat. I installed Nismo clutch/flywheel. Couldn't be happier. Its great compare to stock.
