Does anyone know if the removal of the presilencer will void the warranty ?
and if so what parts does it void?
I had mine removed and I love the sound and it seems to perform a bit better, maybe not though. I suggest everyone do it if the warranty is still good. It only costed $20.00

Technically speaking the dealer has to prove that a modification or aftermarket part is directly responsible for the failure that you are trying to have repaired under warranty. Removing the resonator will not effect anything. So the simple answer is no.
However, what dealers can do is deny service because of modifications. You have legal recourse against them but it's annoying. Should you find yourself in the situation, say thank you very much, retrieve your car and take it to a different dealership who is more willing to do the work.
