I just ordered their Z33 single turbo kit...
http://www.topsecretjpn.com/turbokits.shtml

NOT!!!! Where the hell do they get audacity to charge that for just a turbo and a manifold!!! No wonder they paint all their cars gold (only 465$ per quart, IF they approve your car to have the honor...) Color goes really well with 400$ bonnet dampers! Just dont forget to solve your oil pan issues with this engineering marvel
http://www.topsecretjpn.com/products/z33oilpan.jpg
"Oh look, we can weld some crap onto a stock oil pan. Lets charge them 1200$ for that..." What a joke. OK, I feel better now...

No bitterness at all .
However I am extremely baffled about this. Compared to a full Top Secret spec 350Z the 911 turbo and some ferraris begin to look like a real bargain. Who buys that stuff anyway? Aren't we in this whole Z-modding buisness b/c we want to spank the exotics at a fraction of their price?

BTW, Supras rule .

Honestly I think top secret has proven its a top competitor, but these prices are ridiculous. I mean welding some 14 guage steel in a oil pan isnt really "Top Secret" now is it .

BTW, Yes Supras do rule...

Not far if your referring to fully built motors, but as far as basic mods and overall performance and reliability nothing can touch that car.

BTW with 500 bucks you can have 500hp, thats how easy it was with the 6spd supra.

I heard... How do they handle though? Just curious. I was thinking about a TT Supra, but went with the Z instead...

The handling isnt too bad, the 6spd is better than the auto because its lighter plus its got LSD.

500hp at the crank is close to acheivable and the $500 price is in reference to buying USED parts. Still amazing cars, thinking of buying one off my friend who has 6 TT supras. I love the RSP color.

Thats correct, its off used parts but, I can name a few parts right now which will end up costing around 1k that will get you around the same range.

1. Stock TT 6spd Supra 320hp
2. Tanabe DP +30hp $220.00
3. Greddy BCC $100.00
4. Greddy MBC +130hp (raises boost from 10psi-23psi) $50.00
5. K&N Filter +15hp $20.00
6. HKS Hi-Power cat back exhaust +25hp $425
7. (1) HKS Exhaust Cam Gear +15hp $120
8. 5 Gallons of 110 Octane Unical 76 Race Gas $25.00

All this for 535hp and 40 bucks left for a nice steak dinner...

Oleg, chill out a lil mang. I've said it a million times on here, Top Secret parts aren't cheap. I don't have any say as far as pricing goes =/

On the other hand, you shouldn't bash the baffled oil pan for what it is. Since when did producing a performance part in house make it ghetto? It's not pretty, but then again, it's not intended to be either. Judge it on function rather than appearance.

While aero parts do enhance performance, for you guys who wanted to know about Top Secret Engine parts, check this out:

BTW, Nice car 97supratt =P

Thanks, I can't wait to see what can be done with them either. The R32 is putting out 354 RWP if I remember correctly...not bad IMO.

BTW, I'm gonna try and catch up with your Supra lil by lil. I picked up a 5sp SC300 recently and I'm itching to get a 1J in there...

Those sc's are nice, my buddy has one with a BL turbo kit. Almost like a supra, but it still isnt one... j/k. The 1jz is also a great powerplant, i've heard nothing but good things about them.

$3400 list price for Top Secret (SS) headers? And I thought $1269 list price for nismo headers were a ripoff..
!
$5510 for Top Secret (Ti) headers. That's turbo kit price range right there. Ridiculous.

I have never said that the oil pan was ghetto. I was however making a joke about how much will it cost when produced and sold. It seems that anything with a Top Secret logo is priced to be worth its weight in gold though and I am questioning the necessity of spending that much in order to achive a goal other then getting the prestige of having the market's loudest brands on your car...
I have never said the parts were anything other then top notch quality, just for the record...

Top Secret can choose to price their products as much or as little as they want. I don't see why anyone can complain that much. If you don't think it's a good value, don't buy it. I remember the same complaints about clearcorners.com.
