Fan wiring

How do you undo the little plugs for the fan that are preventing me from removing them???

you just need a little bit of fairy dust. honestly, they are far easier from the bottm.

I am under the car, just cant seem to wiggle them apart and don't want to pull the wiring out of them. what am I supposed to squeeze to undo them?
