Default UR Crank Pulley Squeaks...help!

My belts are making so much noise people think I have a SC! I've tighten my belts quite a bit and it's still making a lot of noise. I've heard they can squeak if they are too tight as well. Any truth to that? Anybody has any advice please chime in. I like the idea of having a SC, but not just the sound

When I had my pullies installed, the reason for the squeaking noise was because the belts were not tight enough... If you tightened them and it is still happening then I would review your install and make sure everything was done properly.

usually, when ur belts squeak, ur belts are loose. Remember, tighten the bolt little by little cause to much tightening can cause damage to the car.

if that doesnt work, get a smaller belt.

Check the tension, not sure of the exact amount, but it's probably somewhere between 1/4 - 1/2 inch deflection. Any more than that and you are bound to get noise. Perhaps someone can chime in with the correct amount...?

Get the right belts size

Gates Micro-V K060445 ( 21mm x 1150mm O.C.) and Gates Micro-V K040353 ( 14mm x 910mm O.C.)
