you dont have to remove the tranny to install headers do you?? I hope your tranny was already out for some other reason!

No......
Our tranny as out so we could go through it. We had the same 3th and 4th grind an are replacing the synchros. Tranny goes back in tom an the exhaust gets done on Tuesday. Car should be running On Wednesday/Thurs for some test runs around the shop. Friday the car gets the graphics completed and the rig leaves on Monday. Busy week.......lots to do.....

boy Im so excited...

oh and could you clarify your statement for those that were confused(me). the PE headers are not legal in races so you went with the other headers seen here? or was T1 reffering to something else?

Titanium headers are not allowed in our race series. As far as numbers go.......havent been to a dyno yet. Daytona is a good place to find out if you have any more power though.

I know it's no concern in the race car but will the cats work with these headers or are they to long

How do WE get headers for our cars?
Those look very nice. One can tell someone took great pride and care in fabricating those.

I can't wait to start learning about hp gains from headers on our cars!

Yes these will bolt onto the stock cats. Dont know when they will be avialable for resale. Hoping to get some torque out of these bad boys.

the welds on that 1st aftermarket header(not the ti one) look like crap. the hell if i'd shell out 1000 plus on somethin like that. the ti header looks much nicer.
The welds and the pipe might not look as cool as the ti headers but at least the tubes are equal length and should make more HP IMO

Why does it look to me like the bolts won't match up?
Especially on the top?
