Hey guys, I installed my test pipes and intake and I got slower. This is really weird, i'm wondering how long it takes for the ECU to actually recognize mods if it ever does. I'm sure I dont need a tune just for test pipes and an intake do I? Any information would help, thanks.

Well, you could always try putting the stock parts back on and see if it returns to the previous level of performance. Especially the intake, the Z's stock intake is pretty good. There's not a lot of HP gain from a CAI, in fact some people claim you lose HP.
I've heard when you disconnect the (-) battery cable it takes 24 hours for the ECU to reset. Or you can try this: https://my350z.com/forum/showthre...=THROTTLE+BODY
Itll feel slower under 2500rpm, after that it'll feel alot slower. If ur doing intake exhaust mods the best thing u cna get is some kind of engine management.. jermaine made 28whp just off of test pipes and utec... he hit 300whp w headers, intake, exhaust, test pipes..manifold
