Question Resources for "old z's"?

I have a 350Z that I will eventually "build", however I am thinking about setting up a na '86 300ZX (more affordable) for track use. I am having a hard time finding resources and am wondering if anyone has worked with these cars or would have any tips on finding resources... Thanks!

I would buy any issue of a Sport Z magazine. In the back they have a ton of internet sites with any gen Z resourses.

Check out Motorsports Auto. They specialize in parts for all Zs, but especially the older Zs, Z32s and earlier. Their website is www.zcarparts.com. Sport Z is another good resource. There are also websites for just about each version of the Z. I am pretty sure there is a Z31 (pre 1990 300ZX) site.
