I am due for an oil change soon and I want to switch to Royal Purple. What kind do yall use in the Z??

 

I just made that switch myself.... OMG! What a hell of a differance it made! You can buy the 5w-30 from PepBoys or NAPA. I use to run the Mobil1, Not anymore! Royal Purple all the way baby! The motor runs so smooth and quite you can't even tell it's running until you press on the gas. I was really suprised because I never really believed all the hype regarding one motor oil versus another. This one really lives up to all the hype. Just do it.

 

Thanks bro. This will be my first oil change on my car. Is that what it takes?? 5w-30?? I havent looked yet. And do most of the dealers wnat you to go to them for an oil change for the warranty, or is it jsut certain dealers??

 

Yes I agree with Havok, royal purple is awesome. It is used in many motorsports as well as street/strip vehicles. I run it and its great.
