because there is no right answer

figure out 1. your budget and 2 your goals, and the decisions from there tend to make themselves

to be honest, i think JWT cams are more for FI due to the high tourqe at higher RPM, in the other hand, NISMO cams give torque throughout the whole rpms

both JWT and NISMO are very mild cams, and particularly mild for NA use

look into tomei or some custom grind.. probably need to get into UTEC or another managemnt system if you're going with an aggressive grind.

Nismo (0.426 inches on lift, 262 deg dur.) coppied their cams from JWT (0.428inches lift, 260 deg dur.), then tweaked it a bit so it isn't a complete copy. They are virtually the same and get about the same result. I would go for JWT because they are less expensive. Neither are all that great for FI uses, but they will still give you some gains over stock. You'll find turbo cams have more lift, but are less on durration. Since you are in Australia talk to APS <http://www.************************> especailly if you are going with FI. Also, you may want to check out Tomei cams for something a tad more raddical for N/A uses. After all the research I've done on the subject, I have decided to get my cams ground at Scott Performance <http://www.scottperformance.us/>. Good luck!

Cosworth should be coming out soon with their VQ35 cams, wait up and get those. Cosworth parts are amazingly good.

How did NISMO copy JWT if NISMO cams were released far in advance of JWT? NISMO cams were released upon release of the car in Japan

i have nismo cams and i love em. The lift and dur. from nismo and jwt are almost identical. Its true, jwt is cheaper so go with that. I suggest u check the private classifieds and post a "i need nismo cams" thread. Good luck!

dolemizer - you do realize that's $800 for a pair right? $800 for a SET would be a steal....and $800 for a pair is very pricey
