Default FYI, HKS DLI II - worth every penny NA!

I just hooked up the HKS DLI II with new Iridium plugs and I can DEFINENTILY feel a difference in response and power. I belive that if you are looking into this mod you WILL NOT be disappointed. BTW, I do not have a dyno to base this off of, just the butt dyno. And I also gapped all my plugs to .045.

Sounds good. Install pics/details? Did you purchase the harness?

Here's a pic of mine. The harness comes with the unit.

Actually, I got the plug n' play harness with the DLI II from Z1 for a GREAT price! Cheapest I found. All I know is that its a great mod. I'll take some pics later, I mounted mine to the fender well. The install including new plugs took me about an hour and a half.

Anyone know what the difference this product is versus the Sun Hyper Force System...? Or are they the same?

From my understanding the Sun Auto system helps with the scavaging of power in the ignition system where as the HKS unit magnifies the power going to the coils. I think

I believe one of AAM's customers actually had an EMU and couldnt get the HKS unit to work with it for some odd reason. He even tried a few DLI boxes and nothing. Others with the EM/EMU have had similar experiences Sentry included....Im sure you have a car with an EM/EMU go and test it out only takes 15 min to install it

So can anyone verify if this does work with EMU, and is it as simple as it sounds. Plug and go?

Im planing on going with new plugs and wires just for maintence reasons, making sure the car is runing as good as it can where its at. Any suggestions on a setup with the HKS DLI, what sparks and what wires

^^ Ive seen 2 or 3 people try a few different DLI units with the EM/EMU its a no go for now, no clue on why. It takes 15-20 minutes all you do is plug up the harness and bolt down a ground and your done. BTW-take pictures of your spark plug wires and Ill recommend some to you

can anyone get ahold of AAM?

their phone number is disconnected

I've been trying to reach them about returning my HKS DLI II. Shame cause I'd love to run it - especially with water injection

I called them, everything is fine.. They have had some issues for the last couple of days with the phone lines. Should be resolved now.
Give them a call.

FYI: I have the DLI myself and it is a very nice kit.

The UTEC doesnt have 2 step...yet...but hopefully soon

Hopefully someone will do a before and after dyno run on the HKS DLI. I would like to see the results.
