Please let us know
how it works out
when you finish
the install.

Did you have to
alter the car
in any way to
make the EFDC
fit?

And does the new
setup help to
alleviate the
bouncy ride
somewhat.

TEIN Flex /w EDFC came out to around $2050. No tax.

I got it from a local shop, Fizz Autosports.

Getting them installed today, should be ready in a day or two. I will get to test them out a lil bit and tell you what I think.

what do you mean? after installing my setup, i took it to the best alignment shop in dallas (Dallas Frame and Alignment). the front camber is not adjustable, but it, and toe (which is adjustable) are still well within factory specs.

and the rear we re-adjusted toe and camber to be somewhat aggressive, but wear evenly (and still be in spec also)... i will get the exact specs we left them at, when i get home.

and why is it your favorite question? have you already lowered your Z and have had major camber problems...?

Ok, so you did not lower much then. I plan on running springs and dont have the ability to raise and lower to a preffered height.

After 1.2" or so you will have camber issues. I realize it is not adjustable and that is why I asked what was done.

But like I said....... if its not too low, its fine.

i did the tein recommended 10mm drop (from 100mm clearance to 90mm). obviously one could go crazy, and they know it. they have a side note to try this setting first, and you will probably be extremely pleased...

i am, so far... the coilovers in combo with the nismo sways is outstanding... only time to lower more would be for shows.

Thumbs up Got my car back from the shop

Okay here is my review.

I first got in the car and started her up. You can here the dampers as the EDFC turns on. It sounds like a slight hiss. We took it out for a spin, just to test out her new legs. At the lowest setting (16) she hold real well, better than stock. But damn when you set her to the stiffest (0) she holds the road like she owns it. I mean damn she is stiff, I was quite impressed. All that annoying bouncing, out the door. And that sweet EDFC glowing in the Nav compartment, damn nice. I lowered her only 10 mm (factory recommended), I can feel the difference when I get in and out of the car. I am very happy with these dampers. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a real nice ride without the bouncy bouncy.

Andrew Rubio did the installation. He took all the pics too, I will have to pic up a CD copy of it soon. Will post all pictures when I get them. Anyone who needs to get stuff put in this guy knows his shiznit. You can email him at
andrewrubio@pipeline.com

Now all I have to do is pick up my stock crap up.

Can you compare the lowest setting stiffness to stock?

That’s a sweet setup! Can't wait for the pics.
I have one question: Where did you do the install? I am thinking about doing the same but I just can’t find any decent shops around where I live.

Thanks,

Dmitry
