Default short throw

I have been doing some reserch on these and can't find enough answers. It looks like 350evo is the most liked.
Is this a good mod?
Worth the money?
How hard to install?
How much improvement?

Do you currently have a problem with the length of the throw? The answer to this question should help you with your question. Don't buy mods just because you can afford them. Buy the ones you need. If you indeed need one, re-SEARCH as I have had this conversation before.

The Z has a short throw already. Drive a Mustang then drive the Z, you will see.

I see absolutely no reason why you would need a short shifter in the Z. Much more to be had for the money.

I have a B&M short throw shifter AND I LOVE IT! I am not sure about the 350evo you are inquiring about. I say if you want it get it! The shorter throw is awesome and it makes the stock throw feel friggin long as hell. I do get some rattling with mine (Again not sure if the 350evo has the same problem), but it's nothing worth crying about, especailly since I always have music going anyway. Good Luck!!

We're pretty happy with them too. The key to preventing the buzzing noise is to use all the grease that B&M supplies with the kit on the pocket of the shifter casting on the tranny and the base of the shifter. Ours and the ones we have installed make no buzzing noise and the shifts are noticeably shorter but more effort is needed to move through the gears. We have some more info and pictures on our website here:

If you would like to buy one we have them in stock and may be purchased directly off our onlinestore here:
