Default Dyno Results

At baseline dyno on a dynojet my 2005 350 (auto) was at 230 whp SAE Corrected. Now after adding JWT Pop Charger, Borla True Dual Cat Back, High Flow Cats, and Motordyne 5/15 Plenum Spacer, the car is at 244 whp SAE Corrected. How does this compare with others who have dynoed with similar mods? Thanks.

After 127 views - not one person, let alone an auto owner, has posted a reply about where their auto 350Z dynos in at. Am I the only one who has dyno'ed their auto 350?

Thanks for sharing your results. I know it is not much gain for the bucks buck FI is just too expensive. Will be putting on Borla headers, then upgrade the suspension. In addition to DD will continue to take to road course at Heartland Park, Kansas for PDE and will start autocrossing it when my 87 300ZX that I use now has seen it's END of DAYs. Will include the headers results when I get them.

You should try and come down next year to the Road Warrior Events. It is most every 2nd and 4th Wednesday - Apr-Sep. $45 and you will get drive by heats (15-20 cars) 15-20 minutes at a time from 4:30 till sundown - normally at least 4 times. Great seat time for the bucks. You will need to use one of the instructors until you are familiar with the course then they will let you go on your own. You can check hpt.com and click on road course and look under road warrior for additional info. There are normally 3-4 350Zs there along with other Zs, Nissans, and also some hot Vettes, Vipers, Subbies, BMWs,etc. You will see just about everything out there.

Results are decent. A/F's look good except your too lean in the midrange. If you tuned your car with an EM, or a flash you would certainly benefit with having the A/F's cleaned up and advancing the timing some.

You should also really think about bang for the buck when it comes to headers. They often start off cheap, but end up being quite expensive because of what it will cost for you to have them installed.

i was thinking of a TS flash but decided to go with headers first...then re-dyno and see where my a/fs are at....then a flash.

A flash is not the best way to go since it is generic. I'd look into an Emanage, UTEC or the like for the best results.
