Default Dealership actually doing Right Thing...

I never thought it would happen!! I should say thanks to Razorx35 for pushing me to do it...

I bought an 03 Z a few months ago...only had 13k miles on it at the time. But...of course was having issues w/ the transmission. I assumed that the dealer would just blow me off and not help...so i was looking to buy a newer tranny and install it myself. In one of my posts...Razorx35 suggested just trying the dealer out. So, I figured he was right...and i had nothing to lose. I took it in...and got shot down. At that point...i figured...you know what...this isn't right...it's got lots of warranty left on the powertrain. So I continued to have them review the problem after each oil change...and they continued to tell me it was normal to have to double clutch into certain gears, and that revving a car past 4k will often cause it to grind going into gear. Having driven manual cars since i started driving, i knew this was b.s. but just let it go. This time...took it in, made the guy go for a ride with me...and showed that i was shifting slow, but at high rpm...and the problem happened repeatedly. Next week...I will be getting a warranty covered new 6 spd tranny installed!!!! WOOHOO!!!!
