Default strut bar

Taking off my strut bar for the spacer install. This is probably a really dumb question but how do you get those plastic hose holders detached from the strut bar base?

yeah i got the hose clamps off like that...but there are plastic things that essentially attach some hoses to the edge of the strut bar and they have parts of the plastic things that go through holes in the strut bar. I'm really scared about breaking these I don't know if you really need them or not but there has to be a way of threading the plastic part out of the strut bar base.

Just take some needle nose pliers and squeeze the parts that open up together. It should slight right out without damage.

I ended up just cutting off one side and leaving one side that I was able to get off without cutting. I've got the install done and everything but I haven't re-installed the strut bar. Drove it for a little while and it seemed like the ride was smoother - is this in my head or has this happened to anyone else?
