Hello,
How can one tell if a Z had an LSD if the diff is gone? The speedo's vary based on w/ or w/o LSD so I need to figure it out by either VIN number or options package. Anybody have any ideas?

only the base Z will not have the LSD. if the car has cruise control it has an LSD on it. If not its a base model and no LSD.

 

Ahh, so cruise denotes a non base model, sweet.

If the differential is gone why does it matter?

 

Because I'm trying to sell the speedo and it makes a difference for some reason to the speedo's part number.
