I have been unfortunate enough to purchase some "new and undamaged" central20 gears from another forum member that are damaged. That member will remain nameless as he states he didn't know about it.
What I am looking for is knowledgable opinion on whether this "slight" damage will be a problem. I have been advised that would be difficult to know without talking to a gear technician, which I have done of course, but canvassing the forum as well.
It appears that the gears were struck with a center punch, very slightly bent the edge of the tooth, and someone tried to polish it down (in other words, someone knew about it and tried to fix it).
To the pictures....
Thanks
