Just picked up my car and drove home. the shop was closed I allready left a message with them. Just had a new clutch installed, clutchmasters FX100. Well first thing i noticed was that the pedal was lighter then i expected (now I am realizing it might need to be bled). Then i noticed that the stick was very notchy and that 5th/6th was closer horizontally to 3/4 then before and R was farther over then before. Then after driving a bit the thing started to smell like crap. Then once i got to my spot the car didn't want to shift into gear. I managed to finally get it in place and park it. Once parked I tried shifting. Clutch down put in first/second ex. It wouldn't budge, tried third and it grinded. Since then I have gone back out side and was able to shift it easily. I am thinking the clutch line is filled with air and is heating up. What do you guys thinK? Can i fix this myself, I don't know the clutch system on this car at all. Is the stink common for braking in a clutch (I am doing it correctly).
Thanks, Please help.

I thought it was an issue with the line needing to be bled. Would that explain the stink though? i mean it is rank when i get out after a short drive as if I was riding it the entire time. Also, as for bleeding the clutch line is it a simple process? Would mutch rather take care of this problem myself. Same thing for the alinement of the gears.
I just had my clutch installed also. Pedal feels alot lighter. The problem I am having is when i push in the clutch to change gears it feels like the clutch disk is still maintaining a small amount of contact. Does this mean the pdeal just needs adjusted and/or need a system bleed also? When I have the clutch pushed in and give the engine a nice rev it make a grinding/whining noise when the rpms are coming back down but does not do it when the car is in neutral and I give the engine a rev. What does everybody think?
