Default first mods?? is this a good idea.

hey i have a stock 05 Z and im loving it. But i wanted to add something to give it an extra umph. I was wondering if a JWT popcharger intake and Stillen ED would be a good first couple mods?? anyone have any opinions or other options i should look into?? *within that price range of course.*

You have an 05 which means you have a revup motor (300hp) just like me... From personal experience I say you get the pop charger, Motordyne 5/16 spacer and MREV2 (Motordyne lower plenum)... This combo works great with just about any aftermarket exhaust.... If your tight on cash do the pop charger first cause while you are installing the spacer you can easily access the lower plenum to install the MREV2... So why do the job twice...

Would you like us to install them for you too?

Seriously.. there are tons of posts on this. The popcharger and spacer are probably your best place to start for what you're looking for.

You could easily find answers to every single question you have asked if you just did a simple search. There are numerous personal reviews of every single part you have mentioned. Try to expend some of your own effort rather than asking for everything to be handed to youon a silver platter.

The MREV2 puts him out of his price range and he has the 05 (I'm assuming base since he didn't mention edition) meaning he has the 287hp motor so no MREV2 needed.

OP, what trim do you have?

i have a touring 05. i thought all the 05's were 287?? and yes there was alot of information on each piece dave90tt but if any of you lames read what i was asking. was which combination i should go with for my FIRST mods. not JUST how well the perform and what kinda headaches you get from them or what not. my question was which mods would be in that budget and which should be the first to be put on. at least bofa understood where im coming from.

The anniversary editions have the 300hp motor but yeah you have the 287. No biggie because many of us revup guys are paying a lot of $$ to regain some of that torque.

If you're talking $350-400, the yeah, popcharger (or just a drop in filter will get similar gains... just no extra sound) and a 5/16" spacer (Motordyne is good and seem to have some good sale prices right now http://www.motordyneengineering.com/350Z.asp)
