My oil cooler has given me nothing but trouble these past few weeks and i want it off my car! The damn mocal sandwich plate does not want to come off. I've tried turning it left, right, up, down, out and the thing will oly move an inch or so and wont come out. I must be doing something wrong!
Any one every attempt to remove this thing?
Any advise will be helpfull at this point.
Thanks in advance

If the Mocal is attached over the stock cooler, then it sounds like the stock bolt is turning when you're loosening the mocal bolt. You will probaly need to use an open end or adjustable wrench to hold the stock bolt while turning the mocal (assuming you have enough clearance to get the wrech between the two). After you get it off, the stock bolt should be torqued to 36 ft/lbs.
BTW, what's up with the cooler that required its removal?
Good luck.
