thats a lot of whp on stock internals....just because they made some dyno runs for those numbers doesnt mean the motor will last for daily driving.....who knows...

Yeah, I dont think this engine would last too long. This is +220 WHP, which is almost double the stock. When you compare stock 244 WHP to the 465 Turbo, you come up with ~ 547 flywheel HP. Which is 156 HP / Liter. That's actually not a lot for a turbo charged engine. but this engine wasnt built to be Turbo charged. Hopefully this all means that running about 350-400 @ the wheels is pretty safe. We'll see. However, I think their fuel management approach is a little old. HKS F-CON and EVC? I would think at these numbers they'd be doing something more direct. Either a new ECU, or reprogramming it. Anyone want to comment on HKS v/s the Greddy E-Manage solution?

The Top Secret turbo kit is still several weeks to a couple of months out. We have not gotten pricing information or availability from Top Secret yet but I will post as soon as it is available.

I also read somewhere that they are working on forged pistons etc becuase they know the car can't last with stock internals pushing that kind of power. I'll try to find the article and post it.

Thats what I have heard too. Apparently the rods are a weak point, and for this reason also, the engine does not ike higher RPMs either. This thing does not have Z32 quality internals which is a shame

I have been in discussion with someone working on reverse engineering the stock ECU code, and he mentioned that the internals were less than impressive. Even though adjusting the timing will be able to change and lower absolute cylinder pressures, to get reliable power out of the engine in current trim, rods and pistons will most likely be changed. A mild boost turbo kit should be fine, but anyone who's had a turbo knows that boost is addictive - 5-7psi is never enough.

Lets hope they sell millions of these cars/engines, so crate motors are cheap
