Default had to FLOOR it

so i was going down a narrow road and i needed to turn around. so i turned into a driveway that was blocked off by a fence but this driveway was STEEP and it only had about 10 feet of space before the fence. so i thought i would go only a little foward so i could turn around but i went a little too far and before i know it i am stuck. even with the e-brake pulled back i am inching foward slowly. so i basically had to floor the gas in reverse. for about 2 seconds i was still with smoke just coming out and then i finally made it. by the time i was out there was so much smoke i couldn't see sh*t.

any ways what i'm worried about is that i might have also burned out my clutch pretty bad, the clutch does feel normal when i drive but do you think there's any chance i could lose power or anything because of this?

never floor it in reverse... e brake on and your sliding forward means there is dirt on the driveway that you pulled into and you were sliding on the sand or dirt or rocks or whatever..

what this means next is that, you need to put it in reverse and let off the clutch and apply proper gas.. slowly gas it, your tires will slip because they are clearing the rocks from under the tires.. because your applying the gas slowly and not just flooring it...

the rocks will clear and you will regain traction...

Correct, I wasn't there. If I was there, I would have used my common sense.

Did you smell clutch when you did it? Did you have the clutch fully engaged?

Were you high at the time? (igetgreens) lol

lmao at this thread location....a do-it-yourself technical discussion about FI.

I went to far down a steep driveway and had to floor it to get out.

You clutch will be fine....sounds like you worn some rubber off your tires.
