so 2day, i was driving down my road,put it in 3rd, and my car bucked, and shook. i figured maybe it was 2 high of a gear at 2 low of a speed. so next street. 3rd bucks a little then revs. ok? stop sign. 3rd gear, just revs. turn off the car, restart it, 1st, 2nd, 3rd...just revs. how did i blow 3rd gear and i wasnt even slamming it? will nissan cover me if i hav previous reports of trnny problems before my 3/36 came up?

 

i had this problem when i had my evo....all i gotta say is good luck....mits wouldnt cover it ...i hope nissan is better about it for ya...

all the original records were when i was bone stock. so if the initial complaints were when i had a stock motor, it was only a matter of time.

 

I would have grenaded the tranny NA before going FI to have it covered. Good luck getting that replaced...
