Default Call me silly!

Ok, I know I asked for it!

Other than the weight advantage is there any performance advantage in having a titanium exhaust over a stainless one?

Also, is there any difference in the note?

Thanks

Titanium has less resistance to air flow due to its 'tighter' atom bonding, and should reduce the cars overall drag co-efficient by at least 2.4x10-6, thus improving performance.
The reduction in iron should also reduce the force needed to move the whole car through the earths magnetic field, and also improve braking performance due to repelling electromotive forces around the car.

The exhaust note will be around 1/4 octave higher due to the fact that titanium's atomic weight is approx 3/4 of that of iron.
