Thumbs down bad news about greddy turbo :(

I was at my local dealership in So Cal and was talking to the head mechanic for a bit about performance parts. He happened to let slip some info on Greddys turbo kit. According to him ( not completely official but his story was backed up by two other workers also ) The infamous greddy tt 350z was undergoing repairs to a fried head and may need serious engine work. I hope this isnt true because im really anxious about getting that Greddy TT kit on my car as well, but this kinda made me think i should wait even after the kit comes out . Wonder if anyone from Greddy can back this story up that posts here? I think this was before SEMA though... because the car is there.

I just returned from SEMA and had some pretty good discussions with the guys there. They did drive it there and said they have not had any probs with the TT setup. The only bad news is that the kit won't be released until around November as they are trying to get the car up to around 400rwhp and get CARB exemption. On a good note though, they said both the exaust systems for the Z will be released by the end of next month.

Any idea when the kit will be ready in Japan?

I was speaking to an authorised Trust/Greddy dealer yesterday and he rang Japan in front of me.

Kit will be available in 3 weeks in Japan and can get imported to other markets.

Not sure if it will be available in the US though.

My friend told me he saw the Greddy 350Z on the side of the freeway...that's all he told me. No idea if it had problems or not.

My sisters brothers uncles cousins dogs lovers owners told me that the muffler bearings went out but they made 999.92 Rwhp right before it happened.

I hate the way rumors start

I swear I saw "350hp(flywheel)" on a paper in the GReddy's 350Z window. It was in some turbo 350Z window. I'm certain it was GReddy, and the pic was from SEMA maybe? I don't quite remember where it was.
