Why would you want to pay like $10k for a tranny swap when you would spend less money selling your auto and buying a 6 speed.

actually i have a '03 350z coupe.

i bought a '04 manual tranny and a new ecu from my friend for a total of $1,500 w/ 12k miles on it.

i then sold my automatic tranny and ecu for about $1,200.

i will be doing the swap myself with 3 other people who have already done it before.

people say dont do it because of the total cost of parts and labor, you might as well buy a new 6MT.

but i think if you know how to do a transmission swap yourself then all you have to do is just worry about paying for the parts and not labor.

taking it to somebody to do it for you is just too much $$$$$$$
