Did that happen in 06 or 07 models? Also are there any major differences between G35c and 350z clutches? Thanks.

 

I am not sure of a redesign but when I test drove the 07 it felt alot harder so did the steering I liked it more than the 06. Funny thing is both cars were Red and same packed, except the 06 had 264 miles on it and the 07 had 212 miles on it.

 

Definitely changed on the 07 model. At least on the 350z. I traded my 06 in on an 07. The new clutch release mechanisms was one of the things that I liked about it. Aside from the HR engine...

 

So it looks like Nissan improved the clutch in the 07+ models. Thanks guys.

 

the 07 is more stiff?

 

I assume it's more soft, because some people were complaining about how more effort was needed to shift in previous models.

 

I wish my 06 felt as stiff as my friends 04 does. I hate mushy clutches!
