Wanted to share my recent experience with The Driveshaft Shop.
I recently broke a stage II axle while driving very passively in second gear, boosted to about 10psi, the tires gripped great, and *snap*..axle was now two pieces
i called Sharif (bought these axles from him 2 yrs ago) and he explained that these were the first production run that had an additional snap ring groove, and a handful of people had broken their axles at that very groove
. Sharif suggested that if I contact The Driveshaft Shop that they MAY warrantee them, possibly (he stressed possibly).
I shipped the broken axle out and when it arrived I called over there and spoke with Lee. Short story even shorter, he was able to get them to warrantee the axle, even though they have a 6 month warantee and I was well into my second year. He explained that almost anyone and everyone that had the first production axle, if it was weakened and was going to break, it had already happened and they had already warranteed them. So. they were able to extend this courtesy to me as well!.. I am extremely pleased with their customer service ethic and will definately be doing business with these guys again!!! They shipped me a new axle, fully assembled and ready to go.
Thums up for The Driveshaft Shop, keep up the good work guys!
