Default Stillen S/C hood scoop

One thing that I didn't like about the Stillen S/C was that you had to buy the hood with the S/C or cut a hole in your hood the way their original prototype car had done. I know alot of people on here didn't like the hood either. Well this is was taken from an article on Freshalloy.com

The customer will have to modify the hood of the 350Z once they've installed the SC. Stillen will offer a complete paint-ready hood in fiberglass as pictured on page 3. Or customers can opt for the scoop only. The scoop is a full front to rear (windshield) scoop that the customer can be installed onto the stock hood, available in fiberglass and carbon fiber. In the case of the fiberglass version, the customer will save some painting expense in that they only have to have the scoop painted to match. Of course with the carbon fiber option, it would only need to be installed.
Here's the link to the full article if you're interested. Plenty of pics of the S/C, but none of the scoop yet . If the scoop looks decent and it's not too big.........

My suggestion to anyone considering a Stillen supercharger is to wait until ATI comes out with their SC (procharger). It will fit under the hood, have an intercooler to make it much more dependable and get about twice the hp. Do a search for it or look in engine drivetrain section about 2 weeks ago, you can get webpage and more info on it. IMHO, much better option. All positives, no negatives.
