Default Did the Motul Gear lube switch

63,000 miles and I thought it was about time. Surprisingly, the fluid in both was super clean and translucent and if I didnt know better would say it was new. No metalic sparkles and the tranny Magnet was vertually free of metalic dust.

Gave the Motul a chance to get in the nooks and crannys. Cant say it was the second comeing of Christ, but it is smoother and I have the security of knowing all is good in the world as far as the gear lube department. And Im not going to say it shifts like butter cuz if I wanted it to , Id would have used Butter. Im uneffected by hype and butter belongs on toast.

Point is...Its good stuff and thanks to Sharif for shooting it out to me. If your planning a change, stick with the Motul. If you want it Purple....add some grapes

I'm also running motul both in my transmission and vlsd.

Gear300, 75W95 i believe. Definitely shifts smoother than stock by a big margin. As for LSD. It seems to take higher temp abuse better on track, but can't really notice any better lock up.

Same as Xuper....In both. In all seriousness, it really is an improvement and for the next question......6 Liters is PLENTY!! with extra in case you ever need it. I had a Liter + left over with a tad overfill in both trans and diff
