Default pre-mods for turbo

well, i want to begin modifing my Z, and i will eventually boost it, so what i have been tring to figure out is what mods should i install so i would not have to upgrade, after the car is turbo'd, for inctanse, if i get exhaust 2,25 inch would it be compatible with a turbo, or 2.5 be better, people say 3 inch is the best, but on a stock engine 3 inch would be too much of a low end power loss. therefore, any advices are accepted , thanks

When you plan on buying a house, what do you buy first?

If you are going to go FI, then select a kit and get that first. Then buy additional mods based on the purchased kit. Not all FI options are the same.

+1

Most people say they will go FI sooner or later but end up never getting close.

Just save enough money so that when you go to get it done, you can do it all at once, better safe than sorry. I had 1/2 plenum spacer, and 3" single exhaust b/c I knew I was going to go with a TN single turbo. Consider your options and what you want/ can afford then go from there.

In preparation for FI, I got a Koyo radiator, Nismo t-stat, Samco hoses, Turbo XS UTEC and MAP sensor, AEM wideband, JWT clutch and fly, HFC's, Borla TD cat-back, Redline oils (engine, tranny, diff), Apex-i turbo timer, wider rims and a radiator diverter plate. Other mods I plan on getting... 650cc injectors, oil pan spacer, return fuel system, swaybars, springs, shocks, 255 lph fuel pump, Cometic head gaskets and ARP head studs (will be done when I install the JWT S7 cams I already have), oil cooler and Autometer boost, oil temp, and coolant temp gauges.

so, from what you've said Borla TD can be installed prior to the turbo, and it is going to have a turbo suitable 2.25 inch piping diameter???

I've got the HR, so i dont even know what the stock block can do. I know that there arenot too many options when i come to mods for the 07', but i meant mainly exhaust, test pipes, gears, and things that will be compatible with a turbo , because i am planning to get one as soon as it is released on the marked.
