Shariff isn't this just barely higher then what that 07 convertable dynod at? Didnt it get like 244hp before you put the EVOTT and test pipes on?

So is the concensus that the VQ35HR and VQ37HR are pretty much equal, with the VQ37HR having a little bit better powerband or something(would liek to see a comparision)? I mean it must got something on the HR cause of that VVET or whatever it is...it just supprises me that with the 2 extra liters your not seeing more of a peak hp difference.

Wow, that G37 looks amazing, looking forward to seeing what you have in store for her.

EDIT: Are you planning to shave the rear emblems? I think that would look really clean.

I gotta admit, it looks pretty darn close. If you look at both GTM's baseline, and ours, and compare them across some of the other HR baselines, the difference is less than 10whp in most cases. I think the 330bhp claim might have a been a bit optimism. Either way, she wont be at 250whp for very long, so I dont really mind either way.

You think theres much more more potential in the 3.7 vs 3.5HR? Seeing that your choosing the shop car to be the G37 over the 07 Z. Maybe they tuned the G37 much more conservitly.

The reason we chose the G37, as this engine and chassis will be the foundation for the all new 350Z in 2010, and will likely share many of the same basics as the skyline. So this gives us a chance to do some R&D on the VVEL, new ECU, and other features of the new car.

Would it be possible to overlay the chart with the dyno chart from the stock 2007 Z you dynoed a while back? I'm looking at both the G37 & the 07 Z and I'm trying to decide if the 3.7L is worth the extra 8-9k. Thanks.

+1 on the overlay

I have to say I was hoping for more out of the 3.7. There goes swaps and part changes.

Car looks fantastic. Black is truely the color to get as long as you don't mind washing it often. Can't wait to see these cars boosted!

I tired to pull it up, but we have another car on the dyno, and I can't adjust the ratio since we run the HR's in 4th gear due to the higher RPM and roller speed. Long story short, it's going to be a while.
