Default Engine cost

The cost is astronomical! Trust me. I visited Japan 4 years ago and was a guest at the MazdaSpeed facility and Tom's (Supra) shop. There N1 racing engines run around $30,000+. They are full racing motors. MazdaSpeed's 4cylinder 2.2 liter motors are pushing around 250-320hp. depending on how much tuning you want. They like to use Carbs. and No fuel injection although they do like Side drafts with Fuel Inj.

I am sure that in the future Nismo will build a more streetable high performance CRATE motor, but it will run you easily over $15,000 and push at least 350hp. You can even add side drafts!!!

Default ok

Sounds good to me75K! When they offer a more tuned down version with smoother cams etc.. the price will come down but still rediculous.

Cool

Bear in mind, these will be high output motors for circuit racing, etc. Lifespan is cut short for their maximum output performance...bigtime.
