Clutch slipping..
My clutch is starting to slip so i am going to get a new one. DO i have to replace the flywheel as well? i am trying to sell my car so im not trying to upgrade anything, just want it to run right so i can sell it.. thanks!
If you want to save the money and just get the slip fixed, just use normal oem parts and take it to an independent shop, fixing the clutch only.
Since everything is apart that would be the time to upgrade the flywheel, but if you don't think it's going to be a selling point that will get your money back I wouldn't bother.

you would have to buy a new OEM clutch kit and refinish the flywheel. You would be better off grabing a clutch kit combo deal and donig it all at the same time. Even if your trying to sell, most shops wont recommend sticking a bandaid on a clutch repair. You pull the tranny off, you fix all of it, no exceptions. Good luck with things.
