anyone had clutch problem?
i have a 05 z. had it for 2yrs.
stuck in half way. I have to pull it to bring up to normal position.
does this mean, it is a time to get new clutch? or it is a defect?
I really wanna know b4 i go to a dealer.
I don;t want the dealer to make me pay for new clutch.
Can any one answer this for me?

The same thing happened to me on the highway in stop and go traffic. After 20min of it, the clutch(pedal) wouldn't come more than 1/2 way up and it would engage right off the floor. It made me paranoid about it for like a month, but after the paranoia went away, the clutch went back to being normal, so after the initial incident i think it was all in my head. That was like 3 months ago. I tried the "syringe master clylinder bleed" thingy that was posted a while back, and it helped stiffen up the pedal actually. (very minor)
- You get a small syringe (go to a CVS or any pharmacy and ask for a few kids dosing syringes, also have an empty water bottle to put the old brake fluid in) and suck up all the nasty colored brake fluid in the clutch master cylinder til its like 1/4 full. DO NOT TAKE OUT TOO MUCH!!! if you do, there is a good chance to bring air into your system. Add new brake fluid to the fill line, and cap it (recommend: Valvolene synthetic). Pump the clutch pedal like 20-30 times. and reapeat till the color of the fluid is close to clear again. Took me about 7 times to get it from orange to clear.
Some people call the BS card on this, but i think it helped.
Good luck!
