There's nothin' like having a 400lb coffee table.

Why not have a bellhousing lampshade while you're at it.

Ship it to GT Motorsports and tell them to have a field day with it... send over a blank check and wait for the results

I didnt read the other thread posted, but is this engine damaged? I agree...hang on and wait for FI and other neat things to hit the market. That stock block might prove to be very strong as it is.

Yeah, just wait a while for the aftermarket to develope. But in the meantime just make it a coffee table.

Gone are the days People used to actually mod cars themself. Now it seems everyone wants to outsource thier work to a "shop" to do all the work.

I vote for you getting a snorkel installed on your car to prevent you from sucking water into your engine again.

I just read your other post, it sounded like a fairy tale by the way,.

I have the feeling you were in the parking lot, doing donuts in the rain, hit a huge puddle and sucked in water to your intake, killing your car.

Or you could be telling the truth and you just happened to park in a 18" sinkhole and had your car suck in the water

If it was me, I'd start taking it apart.

But that's me Make it into a nice, manly coffee table.

some still do there own work, but i'd source out building the engine to professionals like gtm, if i wanted to practice putting together short blocks, i'd start on honda d16's at a couple hundred bucks a pop, not an hr at a few grand a pop, but thats just me

If you're going to build a motor, you should at least get the cylinders honed correct? To ensure exact fitment with each piston.

I mean not many people have the capability to machine their own engine.

Now when it comes to installing kits etc, people still do it. But these motors are not carbureted. You need some experience to piggyback the ECU and tune it.

Some people are good at the mechanical side of things, others are good at the electrical/tuning side. Not many are good at both... that's why there's shops

LOL @ coffeetable. What a waste on an engine. If it were me, I'd put that thing in an rx7 or a 240, quick.

It might have been a trashed motor, and they cleaned it up. You never know. My brother and his friend were bidding on a trashed honda block on ebay a while back for a real cheap. Its got me thinking now...

Imagine trying to rearrange your living room set when you've got a 400lb coffee table. That would suck big time.
